M10 2026 Freakout Thread

OH thats kinda embarrassing 4 me :broken_heart:

… I heard you um exposed peoples clips out of context😭

oh my gosh, can you please review my essay? I want an older perspective.

What

nevermind, I think it was someone else!

Is it only me or march 10th feels so close yet so far away

yes😔 but also verryyy far

Just got my SSAT scores back and got 79th percentile. I am applying to Loomis Chaffee and Emma Willard as a rising 9th grader. Does anyone know if that score is high enough to possibly get accepted (I’m especially worried about Loomis) to these schools assuming the other parts of my application are all decently good?

I believe both Loomis Chaffee and Emma Willard are test optional, but I personally suspect a 79th percentile score would at worst be neutral, and possibly in some cases could help, so would be worth submitting.

Maybe it’s just that I suck but I got one 96% and 73% and everything else I bombed so I only have a 72%:sob: I think your fine lol

Thank you so much! This definitely helps.

Noooo don’t say that, I’m sure you don’t suck. And besides, the rest of your application probably matters more than the SSAT.

Definitely, 79th is a great score for test-optional schools like loomis and emma willard. Im tired of people thinking u need a perfect score or above 90th percentile to have a chance at top boarding schools. As long as other parts of your application are great such as your ec’s, grades, recs, and essays, I can def see u getting in.

Thank you!!

I hope Lawrenceville will want it! What’s your top choice

It’s fine! If you’re not admitted, the score won’t be the reason.

Definitely Loomis sports and academics-wise! Emma is amazing as well, but it’s further from home.
Lawrenceville is also great! Good luck on your application!!

Thank you so much!

I’m lowkey freaking out about my interview tomorrow. Anyone have any good advice?

What school? Talk about the tour and a personal moment that made you like that school.
