A few things worth keeping in mind.
People usually don’t work in school admissions for the money and the glory. They usually do it because they basically like kids, they like meeting kids, like talking to kids, and so on. So when they say something about how they want you to relax and treat it like a conversation, it is not a trick, they actually do feel like that way.
Which doesn’t mean it is wrong to be nervous. Of course you are nervous. They understand that too, and won’t hold it against you–again, they like kids, and they know kids get nervous. But for that very reason you don’t have to be nervous ABOUT being nervous, and I think you will find that as the conversation goes on you do start to sort of calm down a little.
The last thing I would keep in mind is these schools are never looking for just a whole bunch of one type of kid. They want a community of different sorts of kids who will support and interest and inspire each other in different ways. So it is not like a test where you start at 100% and they deduct for every wrong answer. Your goal is really just to help them get a clearer picture of who you are as a unique individual, what you are interested in, how you think about things like school and community, and so on.
And you are the world’s leading expert on you. No one else, not even your parents or closest friends or teachers or so on, can really give as meaningful of a picture of you as you can.
So again this doesn’t mean you can’t be nervous, but you should also be confident that you are the exact right person to be sitting in that room and talking with this person about who you are.

I’m not applying to NMH and Mercersburg, but I already got a fee waiver for NMH and started the essay and for Mercersburg, I sent the candidate profile… I never got an interview for NMH and I’m too embarrassed to ask for one now 
Oh my gosh so sorry didn’t realise you’d answered this and of course! You can pm message me if you’d like, English is one of my strong suits so I hope I’ll be useful! Also if I ever write differently I write in British English, so that’s why (however I’m Canadian)

Does anybody here have experience filling out the Clarity tax verification form as an international applicant (Canadians please answer)? Might just make this a different thread post because this is high key very urgent.
I have a handful of new ECs, and the only school that has a place to add them is Choate, so I’m debating either emailing the AOs who interviewed me or the actual AO office with all of my new stuff
Luckily I got rejected from ED, I got into a much better fit during the EA round at another school

Yeah, I had that issue as well so I just emailed the admissions office a pdf of my updated ECs/Awards (they probably won’t respond because of how busy it gets this time of year but will definitely see it and possibly update it for you.)
