I also feel that tension/attraction/set-up for irony, too, familyof3boys.

Count me amongst the underwhelmed and disappointed.

I would hate to see Don and Peggy get together.

Yes, that would be a bit strange. They seem like big brother and little sister to me. But, I guess it could happen.

In a way, I agree with you. But, I get the impression that the characters are possibly compatible. He is certainly impressed by her determination and grit, although she is definitely not his type. What she sees in him (besides the obvious) though is a question.

I was underwhelmed, but then I watched part of it again and noticed subtle things I had missed. Roger has some great lines, and so does his wife in the party scenes. The Slate discussion analyzes the show to death but still is interesting: [Mad Men returns, and the TV Club puts on its party plaid. - Slate Magazine](Mad Men returns, and the TV Club puts on its party plaid.)

Did you catch the comment that Joan made about Don? Something to the effect that she couldn’t image how handsome he would be blushing.
Bet Megan (the secretary turned wife) gets PG very soon. When she said she did not feel well I thought that was a cue.

Did January Jones really gain that much weight with her pregnancy, or was she in a fat suit? While the writers would have know she was pregnant when writing these episodes, I can’t imagine they would have know she would come back heavy! Usually these stars have trainers helping to whip them back into shape immediately.

I was on my computer while watching and had to back up the DVR as I didn’t recognize Betty at first!

I think it’s a fat suit. That was a shock!

Definitely a fat suit.

From the following article-
[The Clicker - Fat suit-wearing January Jones returns to ‘Mad Men’ in a really big way](http://theclicker.today.msnbc.msn.com/_news/2012/04/02/10981325-fat-suit-wearing-january-jones-returns-to-mad-men-in-a-really-big-way)

Well that is a relief!! I could not imagine that wasn’t a fat suit and they did show her belly when the kids were trying to zip up the dress, so I knew she wasn’t currently late pregnant. It was her face that shocked me; I’ve know people to gain a large amount of weight, but that looked so unnatural to me.

I posted this in the Walking Dead thread but wanted the Mad Men fans to see it, too. It’s really funny, especially the Roger character :D!

[Walking Dead Mad Men! - YouTube](<a href=“Walking Dead Mad Men! - YouTube”>Walking Dead Mad Men! - YouTube)

Very cute! (The only problem is my kids get the Walking Dead parts and I get the Mad Men parts. Loved the Breaking Bad reference at the end!)

So what did you think when Don was home sick?

I guess I’m really slow but it never occurred to me that that was a dream sequence while it was happening. When that scene ended and went to commercial, my jaw dropped
By the time the commercial break was over, I had figured it out!

Gotta say, I loved Joan finally kicking that ■■■■■■■ out of the house! Go, Joan!

I also loved Joan kicking Greg to the curb. The other thing I loved was seeing the commercial for Mystery Date. I had that game and still remembered most of the words to the jingle! A pretty dark episode otherwise.

I find the new hire interesting. Should make for some fun episodes to come.

Both the student nurse mass murders and Mystery Date featured in last nights episode really hit a real nerve. At that time I was the same age as the Sally character. We lived in Chicago and I distinctly remember the Richard Speck murders and the terror that it caused. Mystery Date really creeped me out because you never knew who would “show up at the door.”

Joan finally kicking out Dr. Rapist might be the best moment on Mad Men. I am extremely proud that (even though it was in the subtext of her speaking) she confronted him about it.

What about grandma giving Sally a sleeping pill?!
