Made A Girl Cry LoL

A girl at school told me her stats and asked me if she could get into HYP.

2030 SAT, 30/400, Asian, chem major, genaric ECs

I said she had “slim chance but should apply to other good schools”

I told her I had higher stats but got rejected from the Ivies.

She walked away in tears.

Once I knew she was gone I started laughing.

That was mean.

Would it have been nicer to tell her she would get into HYP and not to apply any where else?

Yes. Then they get owned and you can all have a good laugh as she packs her bags for a cc.

i would have just said it’s a crapshoot

telling her the truth is fine, it is just mean that you think her sadness is funny…

I would have told her the same thing.

“telling her the truth is fine, it is just mean that you think her sadness is funny…”

Exactly.

See, normally upon reading that title I would come in and harp on you about how making people cry isn’t funny…but it sounds like she was dumb and deserved it, so :P

Why in the heck would you hurt someones feelings like that?

Those Asians lol. No, any type of overachiever sickens me.

There’s this girl at my school, who when you talk about college always takes on this attitude of superiority just telling you how she wants to go to Princeton, Yale, Harvard, Stanford, or Caltech. I freaked out on her one day because those are totally different schools on two sides of the country, in two very different climate zones as well.

This girl also cried her eyes out one day when she got an 89 on a history test, and the history teacher she has is a crazy old woman, and hardly anyone ever makes an A, in other words, an 89 is friggin awesome to get on one of her tests.

Other thing is, that’s the highest grade this girl has ever made on a test in there as far as I know, so why cry. Answer, to look smart like she sucks if she got an 89, therefore making the rest of the class feel like we suck.

Haha, dude… I probably would have laughed, too.

Truth hurts. >_>"

the truth does hurt. life isn’t fair. she should move on. i guess she got a taste of brutality of the real world. i just think of her as a crybaby. but then again, i kind of feel bad for her.

I would have said:
You have no chance and should not even bother…what do you think you are, a black male?
I would not have laughed, but been deadly serious since I can’t stand stupidity and happiness.

Good job, Bill. I’m sick of people like that who think they’re entitled to everything great. There’s some around where I live, but I guess the fact that they’re legacies has contributed to it.

Money speaks for a lot when dealing with entitlement. Any Asian living in a place like Syracuse must have some.
