I already have several colleges that I want to tour, and a list of about 3 majors I’m interested in, but not all three are offered at all of the colleges. Should I pick my major and then tour the colleges that offer my major first, or tour all my colleges and then choose my major?
It depends on how strongly you feel about your major. If you are satisfied with the choices available at the school , then visit. If not, then I wouldn’t go unless it is nearby and you are interested in seeing a certain type of school (ex a LAC) to determine if you want to consider similar schools that do have your major.
