Major Mistake for Certain School's Application

I applied to a school and I made a huge mistake. I basically didn’t see a required essay until filling in the app. And this school has 6 essays though. So I took one of the essays I wrote before and then to claude and told it to NOT CHANGE VOICE AND GRAMMAR but make it specific to the school. After I went to an AI detector and found out it was 100% AI by quillbot. Am I cooked? Please: yes or no.

No one can answer. No one knows what that school does with their essays.

I mean, if you are, it’s a good lesson to learn. You cannot use AI to write essays for you. There was no reason not to just spend 30 minutes making the changes yourself.

To their point, you shouldn’t have applied.

I’m not an AI user so I’m falling behind, but best I can tell, it’s the worst thing to happen to students - it will cost them a lot of learning and in this case allows you to make ethical lapses.

If you were late, then you need to learn how to manage deadlines and in this case, you should have skipped the app.

Education is about doing the work, not taking the easy way out (cheating).

After reading the essay, I just realised that it was just the name that got changed and basically a line was rephrased. Thanks so much for the advice and I will surely be more time-conscious

Yhhh. I found out princeton extended the deadline to 7th but I just didn’t receive the email cuz my time zone is 6 hours faster than in US.
Feel very useless rn ngl

One AI detector said it was ai generated but I think cuz I used the word unwavering. I normally used it in my essay. The others said human

If you wrote these 100% on your own, why do you even need to check ??

Someone reviewing my essays said I should replace the word because it is used by AI often

Hmmmm. If I write my own essay, nope - I’d leave as I wanted.

But did you 100% write your own ?

I wouldn’t even check it through an AI system. Spel check and grammar check but that’s it.

But that’s me.
