<p>Massachusetts is known to be one of the “smart states” that has high test scores and the most highly educated popluation in the US. The gene pool includes all those Harvard and MIT professsors’ kids. It means something to be one of the top math students in the state.</p>
<p>I know that the kids who do well (top 20 or so) also get in to top colleges. I’m talking HYPM. However, they also have other interests and activies and strong academic records.</p>
