lol! What took you so long!!

Go Butler!!!

UHG!! They are announcing the lineups now, but I am too tired to stay up.

I’ll put the TV on in my room and see what happens.

I like that Butler has a real bulldog for their mascot! And all of the players petted him after they were introduced.

As UConn fans we always laugh that the Husky is energetic, dancing etc and the Baylor bulldog is overweight and sedentary!
At least my UConn men won tonight…I wish the women had also won.

Congrats ebeeeee. For the non-UConn fans, tonight’s game was like living in an altered universe and beyond disappointing. How could Butler miss so many shots??

On to tomorrow and the Irish lassies :).

Neither of those teams, with 9 losses a piece, and that abominable game, should finish in the top 10 in the rankings.

Not a pretty game. I wish my Jayhawks had made it instead of either team.

Still, that’s basketball for you ;)

Agreed with noimagination, rock chalk jayhawk! Oh well, I had UConn in the final four

congrats to Henry for winning the pool :)

Not a pretty game, but a great outcome. Go UConn!

It is unfortunate that, for the sake of money, the most important games of the season are played in football stadiums. The sightlines are poor; there can be breezes. None of the 4 teams that played in the Final Four shot the ball well. But Butler & UConn both paly good defense which definitely contributed to the way this game was played.

Shaka Smart turned down an offer from NC State and signed an 8 year contract with VCU.

I was rooting for Butler, but enjoyed the game a lot. Shows what can be done (and how the game changes) if you come well prepared and with the energy and will to play tough defense. Shooting percentages collapse if the defending team actually plays hard instead of watching the offense take shots, waiting for their turn.

I’m not smart enough about basketball to say for sure, but the number of close-in misses suggested that Butlers big men felt (or were) overmatched under the basket and made every shot harder than it should have been by trying to avoid the block.

Hats off to UConn for having the will and the talent to match Butler’s defensive effort. If they don’t or can’t do that, they lose.

OK, ND, let’s go!! The game is going to be especially fun since it’s in Indianapolis. Can’t wait to be there tonight. I graduated from Butler and S is at ND, so it’s been an exciting ride this year. Go Irish!!

I was rooting for Butler but I’m fine with Uconn winning.

Maybe that will settle the Big East is over-rated junk.

Kind of an ugly game. Can’t believe Butler only made 3 baskets “in the paint”. But congrats to UConn.

Henry must have been thrilled about his win because he pulled an “all-nighter” digging in the garden and traipsing mud all over the house and is now sleeping in his crate looking very hungover.

I personally had a pretty bad day yesterday. But I know who had a worse day!

Waiting for the women to show us how it’s done.

I don’t know why everyone is talking about UConn’s great defense. They didn’t NEED defense since Butler couldn’t shoot last night. The 2 best teams did NOT play in the championship game, but that’s the way it goes. The two hottest teams at the end of the season made it to the game, which was the ugliest championship game ever.

This is what it is all about, though.

Apparently Henry is our biggest winner.

What an ugly game. Sheesh.

Yep, in one game eliminations like this? On any given night?

I don’t think it’s a coincidence that Uconn played a streak of teams with low shooting percentages – surely their defense had something to do with it?
