<p>Kentucky game is insane.</p>
<p>Looks like it’s a done deal about now. KY up by ten with a a minute left. Too bad.</p>
<p>No surprise. Kentucky is amazing- as they should be with a pro lineup. But- Vanderbilt beat them and Indiana looked great for much of the game. It’s just too much.</p>
<p>No, Teri, what was REALLY too bad was Wisconsin handing the game at the end to a certain orange evildoer empire. George Dubya Bush would’ve hated those guys. No matter. Karma’s a-comin’ 'round the corner…:)</p>
<p>At least Calipari & Kentucky are upfront with their one-and-done factory…</p>

<p>What. Were we watching the same game?</p>
<p>Everyone who changed their brackets at the last moment because of Melo’s absence doesn’t get it that Syracuse is a deep team, which is how they got to where they are. It took a couple of games without him to figure out how to do that, but their win Thursday was real. They out-rebounded Wisconsin, as well as forced them to turn over the ball more times than anyone has mentioned; and showed they could play fast, slow and everything in between. WI got cocky at the end when they didn’t call a time out.</p>
<p>Even if they lose to Ohio State tonight, I beg of anyone to admit they had Syracuse going to the Elite Eight after losing Melo. CJ Fair was awesome and I think they finally found their rhythm without big Brazilian. Even with Melo, they might lose to Ohio State. But they made it to the final eight despite what everyone started saying after the Melo debacle.</p>
<p>I’m back to the top in my pool (MSU losing was a blow to my bracket). I would have really liked to see UNC lose last night as I’m one of the few in the top 10 that has Kansas going to the final game over UNC. If UNC loses to Kansas, I win no matter what (I’ll at least place in the top 3). If UNC beats Kansas… it wouldn’t be good.</p>

<p>I do! I have them winning. I have no inside knowledge and I don’t really expect them to win but my gut told me they weren’t going to fall apart because of this one guy being out, so I kept my SyracuseWins bracket intact.</p>
<p>I didn’t pick 'Cuse because I thought Vanderbilt would beat them, which I think they could have if they hadn’t lost to Wisconsin. Oh well! We were all glad to see Syracuse beat Wisconsin and glad that the refs were a better crew so Syracuse didn’t get screwed.</p>
<p>I also thought Vanderbilt was going to beat Syracuse. This is the worst i’ve ever done in the march madness tournament. The last three years i’ve come in first place, and now i’m in last place in pretty much all my brackets. I didn’t think it possible.</p>
<p>I thought Wisconsin had it in them to beat Cuse so I had Wisconsin going to the Elite 8.</p>
<p>They could’ve done it, too. Not a knock to Syracuse, I just thought Wisconsin was a bit underrated.</p>

<p>Maybe I was a bit sensitive to their loss of Melo since I was at the one regular-season game they loss to Notre Dame, their first without him. Everyone thought they were doomed at that point. We knew they were a deep team, and it was such a shock to lose to Notre Dame. They also really struggled in the next two games without him… did not look like the deep team we all thought they were. </p>
<p>But they seem to have found a rhythm without him that has gotten them further than we thought. I just don’t think it’s going to be enough to get them to the championship game. But they have redeemed themselves, and for that they should feel good.</p>
<p>D’s school won their first national title!

<p>I don’t really have a dog in this fight, but the Syracuse-OSU game is one of the worst officiated games I’ve seen in a while.</p>
