March Madness 2025, men and women

I like Florida’s colors, so I was rooting for them.

I’m no. 3 in my bracket, and only two of us have FL winning it all. Duke winning here would ensure that I finish in the top two.

What just happened? lol

Ikr???

I was mostly indifferent on both outcomes as I know people who went to all four schools that played today. More UF folks than anywhere else, but my BFF did go to Auburn. I thought Duke would win, though.

Hope the final is a good game

Great game. Wow, I had Duke winning it all too. But I’m always happy when Duke loses.

The best I can do is second because the other guy who picked FL to win it all had one more lousy first-round win than me. I’d finish one point behind him. if Houston wins it all I think I drop to eighth. Boo!

Zzzzz….”Don’t sleep on Houston!”

Wow, amazing. I did not pick Houston, my bracket is busted.

Kudos to Roberts, Cryer, all the players and Coach Sampson.

I know next to nothing about basketball, but have a spouse and son-in-law who are huge fans. Needless to say, I watched the game last night (Duke and Houston). Even I was jumping out of my chair. It was really exciting.

Florida and Auburn are both blue and orange but Auburn is a navy blue. And Florida’s orange is just weird!

Tennessee has the weirdest orange (to me).

Cooper Flagg had a shot he could make 10’ or whatever from the basket and missed. So, Duke had the shot they wanted to win the game. He just missed it.

High level game being played right now between UConn and South Carolina. I really don’t care who wins, but it’s a good watch.

True - I think they call it prison jumpsuit orange or traffic cone orange!

Burnt orange is best :metal:

I’m glad Jemele Hill tweeted why is this game not in primetime. Women’s game deserves better.

I want UConn to win, even though I picked SC in my bracket. Glad everyone is stepping up for UConn. Kitts is not having a great game. I really like her. And Fulwiley.

I’m not sure I agree.

There’s an LA Lakers-OKC b-ball game on NBA TV right now, but otherwise, the women have the entire TV audience to themselves. And the NBA will typically will have a game on ABC around Noon PST.

Sunday nights aren’t that great for TV viewing IMO. The kids have got to do their homework.

I think this game is over 1/2 way through the 3rd Q. I don’t think there are any Houston comebacks forthcoming.

The men are on in primetime. Wonder why?

To me, Saturday and Sunday nights aren’t really primetime. Most sports play their weekend games in the morning and afternoon PST.

There are several NBA games being played right now, but nothing being broadcast nationally, but for the Lakers-OKC on NBA TV, which is premium matchup.

Again, the schedule looks cleared for the women to play and the NBA/ABC will typically use the noon PST time slot on Sundays for their premium games.

I guess there’s golf to watch, but that’s boring.

Rick Barnes, prior to Tennessee (ORANGE), coached at Texas (ORANGE)
Prior to that, Clemson (ORANGE!)

That is a one of a kind blue in Florida!
