Lolololol I’m suddenly happy I didn’t do brackets I would’ve had state at least to the final 4.
I don’t follow college basketball as closely as some, but I just saw the post-game interview with Tom Izzo and am so impressed. In the middle of such heartbreak, he answered questions with candor and heart and didn’t make excuses. The love he showed for Denzel was really touching.

Thought I would start a thread for those who want to talk about it.
Final Four is in Houston this year and I signed up to volunteer and showed up for orientation. I was amazed that it takes 4000 volunteers to run, 70,000 out of town guests will show up and about 20,000+ don’t even know they will be coming until the weekend before since each team gets 4000 tickets.
yeah. I’m a Michigan fan. Not really rooting FOR Midd Tenn as much as against MSU

I’m a Texan with Iowa roots and almost lost my stuff last night with that UNI half-court buzzer shot against UT!!! Absolutely and perfectly STUNNING!
I’ll be singing a different tune on Sunday though when UNI plays my Ags lol!

Yale is the only school to reject ds2, but I still wish that they could pull this out.

I love college bball. We have season tickets to the Ducks, and the more intimate setting and the lack of helmets means you feel like you ‘know’ the players. It makes it lots of fun. Because of various alma maters, hometowns, etc, we have lots of teams to root for:
Ducks (we live in Eugene!)
Badgers (my alma mater and my S’s school!)
Hoosiers (my H’s alma mater!)
UNI Panthers (my hometown)
And woohoo re the MSU upset!!

Did you see Bill Murray in the crowd after the game was over? He looked so sad, and I asked D why - she said his son is an assistant coach for Xavier.
A great night for me in Wisconsin, with the wins for the Badgers (obviously) and Maryland (player Diamond Stone, from Milwaukee).
