No comments after the four games so far? We were thrilled to see 'Cuse beat Gonzaga. What a lot of people don’t know is they’re making this run with only seven players due to NCAA sanctions. So much for the naysayers who said they shouldn’t even be in the tournament.
All this being said, I think they will lose to Virginia on Sunday. But I’m proud of them and happy for Cooney in his last year.
The ACC sent a record 6 teams to the Sweet 16 and now has 4 of the Elite Eight–only the second time this has ever happened.
Both my alma mater and H’s are still in it!
I thought Syracuse was a goner when I peaked at the score. Nice to wake up and see they won. 
And the women won, too.
I was disappointed that my alma mater, Indiana, lost (i.e. got killed) to NC. NC is really, really good. I am one that did not believe Syracuse should have been in the tournament- mainly due to the sanctions. I am really tough when it comes to rules violations and lack of institutional control by the coaching staff. Syracuse also had a very easy path to the Elite 8 compared to everyone else. I believe Virginia will kill them, but you never know!

^ oh for heavens sake - they accepted the consequences doled out to them. Someone sounds to me like a sore loser.
I have no skin in that game, so not at all a sore loser. It bothers me that 2 unethical programs are in the Final Four- NC and Syracuse. I am very plugged into college basketball- and this is disappointing. I assure you that I’m not alone inthis opinion. The jokes abound!
Syracuse absolutely is playing incredibly, though!
Syracuse is playing under the sanctions given to them by the NCAA. They were not banned for all eternity from competing in the NCAA tournament.
I highly doubt Syracuse give a hoot that jokes are abounding.
I suggest you not watch the rest of the tournament since it is so distressing for you.
Losses while the coach was suspended were given less weight. That’s the issue of whether they should have gotten a slot in the first place. The fact that it’s an unethical program is another issue. And NC- their players don’t go to class!

I doubt many programs differ much from these 2. They just got caught. (Athletes not going to class? I’m shocked!!!
Well, I’m a huge UVA fan and will continue to be one. I’m not an alum, but D is. I am extremely proud of the program, of Coach Bennett, the players and the students. They lost the game, but it’s a game. Even if they’d advanced, I don’t think they could have beaten UNC - just being realistic. I’ve no doubt they’ll all find success in life, whether they continue with basketball or go in another direction.

So, take it up with the selection committee.
NC hasn’t even had sanctions imposed yet so they get to play regardless of whether you don’t think they should.
