<p>OMG - Hoya Saxa - I could not even watch the game. I put the tv on mute and every once in a while looked up to see the score. Let’s go Georgetown!! Can’t wait until Sunday!</p>

<p>Sad news: The student who has worn the UNC mascot uniform for the last three years was hit by a car this afternoon in NJ (at the tournament). He is in critical condition.</p>
<p>Still looking forward to Florida/Amherst!</p>
<p>If UNC and OSU had both lost, I would win in a walk. Drat those huge comebacks.</p>

<p>It was in our news this a.m. too. So sad. I hope he recovers. His hometown is not far from us.</p>
<p>Our prayers are with this young man and his family–one of the saddest stories this March. Unfortunately this update is not as encouraging as we would hope, so keep the prayers going everyone!</p>

<p>Fwiw, it turns out that a friend of ours was a mascot for the U/Minnesota hockey team. A lot of us out here didn’t know about that part of his life until slides were shown at the wake.</p>

<p>Well, two of my Final Four entrants made it in today. I’ve my fingers crossed for the two underdogs tomorrow.</p>
<p>In the pool I am in, I have UCLA winning it. So far so good.</p>

<p>The possible steps by G-town was a good let-em-play moment by the zebras. There was an earlier obvious carry that wasn’t called. BTW better to let em play than the ton of fouls called in the OSU game yesterday.</p>

<p>Well, I never thought I’d be a UCLA fan, but last night I was rooting for them like CRAZY!!! </p>
<p>See, my 13-year-old son had made a rather risky wager with his science teacher. Ultimate Duke fan that he is, my son made a bet with his teacher that if Kansas made it into the Final Four, he’d have to shear off the long, wavy locks that he’s been sporting for a year now. BUT…if Kansas DID NOT make it into the Final Four, HIS TEACHER would have to shave a “D” for DUKE into HIS hair…and COLOR IT BLUE. Son was <em>SO</em> relieved. The girls at school love his hair SO much that it is a regular classroom discussion at trimming time to see how much is “allowed” to be trimmed off! <em>ROFL</em> :D</p>
<p>I’m REALLY glad that he won this one!! He already owes SIX Snickers bars to the gym teacher, and I had to fork out for a USC ball cap earlier this year for some bet or another! Note to my son: NO MORE BETS UNLESS <em>YOU</em> HAVE THE MONEY TO COVER 'EM!!! :eek:</p>
