March SAT Math Thread

you guys are seriously ignorant. i cant wait for all of you to get your scores and realized you misread the average student question

Dlwolverines: When the majority of the people in CC reach a general consensus for the answer, and you seem to be the only one who has a different answer, it’s more than likely that you read the question incorrectly. Basic probability.

thats what you would think, except it was a medium problem, and extremely easy to just disregard because it didnt seem tricky. a lot of people messed this one up but if anyone re-read the wording they would realize its per year, not over 5 years

There’s also the case of ‘Argumentum ad populum’, in terms of majority ruling; however, the answer was 0 for that average question. You simply misread, end of discussion.

what’s the huge fuss over here?

Alright guys…not looking for trouble. I just would like to know if the f(x) * g(6) = 6 was a fill in.

It was multiple choice.

dlwolverines - what do u mean per year? that u add the difference between the student number each year up and divide by 5? this wud still be 0 considering some wud be negative and some wud be positive but im not sure if thats what u mean

thank you and also i don’t remember the question with the change in votes from 2002 to 2004. can someone explain how that one went

^It was a scatter plot graph.

dlwolverines-ur madd dooshy and ur wrong b/c everybody pretty much agrees its 0. theres prolly thousands of viewers on this thread that wud agree its 0 yet ur out there alone arguing against one of the most obvious answers on the test. please dont come on this site and offer ur worthless input b/c nobody cares what one ■■■■■■ thinks when theres thousands who think a different way. thank you

^ You need to learn how to spell not lyk dis.

Thanks superexcited. I don’t remember that question though. Do you remember the math involved?

coooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooool saxsky nobody cares

Was that an easy question and like no brainer? I just don’t remember it

It was a question of reading and understanding the graph, and really basic subtraction. I wouldn’t sweat it if I were you.

ooo it was like 40 - 10 i think. thanks tho

does anyone remember a graph with a couple double bar graphs?

Profits and revenues question?

oooo yeaaa
