Besides the fact that they are cheating on their wives and treating their families like that, they are having UNPROTECTED sex and presumably, continuing to sleep with their wives, therefore endangering their health.

Many of us fellow Californians are now calling him “The Sperminator”. All kidding aside, talk about the ultimate betrayal-- to be involved with a HOUSEHOLD staffer employed by you for 20 years. I’m wondering which women he’s had steps forward next? Where there’s smoke there’s fire.

A google search turned up a few women:

South Carolina Republican gubernatorial candidate Nikki Haley

US Rep. Helen Chenoweth, Idaho

US Rep. Katherine Bryson, Utah

Catherine the Great

Mary Kay Letourneau et. al. (teachers having sex with students, some in middle school)

It may be that women have less proclivity to cheat, but maybe there just aren’t that many women who have reached a sufficiently high level of power that a sex scandal would generate a lot of publicity. Supposedly 60% of married men and 40% of married women have had affairs. If this holds true up the line, we will see more female scandals as women get into more powerful places.

And how much respect do you have for Hilary for staying with a serial philanderer like Bill? She made a business decision, but I don’t think it is particularly admirable IMO.

Richard Burton was also married to a nice Welsh girl when he got cast opposite Taylor in Cleopatra. Mutual infidelity…how sweet!

As for extra-marital affairs…honestly, where do people find the time?

All those years of lying – what a bummer for Maria. I’m sure she’s always known about his indiscretions & chose to look away (she is a Kennedy, after all…) but the idea of him hiding, for a decade no less, a child he had with a household worker, someone who was in her HOME – that must be deeply hurtful and humiliating.

Anyone thought of how the guy who thought he was this kid’s father all along must feel right about now?

How do you explain something like this to your children?

Besides everything else, Maria Shriver had to give up her network broadcasting career when he entered politics. I can’t imagine being betrayed by both a husband and a long-term household employee.

I wonder why this is coming out now? I feel sorry for all the chldren involved.

Arnold is too disgusting for words. So is Ensign - shocking story there.

anybody keeping count in, this, 2011----the year of the sleezbags?

I’ll start (and I’m sure I will forget some so please add)…wow all “S” last names…hehe…who am I missing?

Sheen
Schwartzenegger
Strauss-Kahn

I don’t see that at all. She continued to work for many more years for the family. If she was out for just the payoff, she could have quietly sued him and got a lofty one time sum.

I am sick reading about the Strauss-Kahn situation. One of the following must be true:

(1) He committed a brutal assault against a vulnerable young woman.

(2) He has been falsely accused of a horrible crime and his life and career are in shambles.

Either possibility is horrifying.

I have opinions on most things but that’s none of my business. I truly have no opinion on that. It’s such a personal decision, and so complicated when children are involved.

NYMomof2, It’s not the first time Strauss-Kahn has been accused. So I am leaning much more towards 1 than 2.

http://m.ibtimes.com/after-hotel-chambermaid-french-journalist-targets-strauss-kahn-146888.html

I agree, pugmakate, that it seems more likely that he is guilty, because of past behavior. I also tend to think that the NYC police/prosecutors would not have gone after this powerful man in the absence of compelling evidence. But I was wrong in the Duke lacrosse situation, and I am being very careful not to rush to judgment prematurely again.

Barbara Walters.

It didn’t create a scandal at the time, but she was cheating with a married senator, who has now passed away, but she supposedly was in touch with the wife after she planned to write her book.

Elizabeth Taylor

[Female Celebrities Cheat Too! - Starpulse.com](http://www.starpulse.com/news/Maccorley_Mathieu/2010/04/09/female_celebrities_cheat_too)

Ooh, they mentioned her here, and Angelina Jolie, Tori Spelling, Marilyn Monroe, LeAnn Rhimes, Meg Ryan, and others

http://www.popeater.com/2010/05/19/famous-women-cheating-scandals/ Jennifer Lopez, Ann Heche, etc

I have no dog in this fight and I have no opinion of Ms Haley but I do know that those accusations were made by an opponent during the campaign. She denied them and stated that if elected and if it were ever shown that the allegations were true, she would immediately resign. I believe her.

Thought of another man who had a child out of wedlock and kept it secret for a while:

Jesse Jackson

And didn’t he pay the mother with money from his organization?

"Can anyone name a famous woman who cheated on her spouse and created a scandal? "

Ingrid Bergman

Bill Cosby.
