Marriott

Can anyone elaborate on this connection between the Marriott hotel and Georgetown that I keep hearing about? Is it true that the food in the caf. comes from the hotel and that its all cold and repulsive???

Well, the employees at Leo’s are Marriott Conference Center employees, but all food is cooked on-site. There is a Marriott Hotel on campus at the Leavey Center, but our food doesn’t really come from there. Supplies are um, supplied by Marriott.

Cold and repulsive, what? It’s at least fake heated by heating lamps.

You will learn to love cookies, the salad bar, and the panini machine. Also, just accept that Wisey’s will take all of your money.

The food is not bad. I eat better here than I do at home.

Pardon my ignorance, but what’s Wisey’s?

Mmmm, Wisey’s. It’s like a sandwich shop/small scale grocery store one block off campus, right next to the Walsh building and LXR.

They make pretty delicious sandwiches…the popular one around campus is the Chicken Madness, which is good, but I prefer the Pastrami Reuben.

at the GAAP weekend i went and had lunch at leos…it was pretty good i guess, definately not cold and repulsive
