So I was deferred from my first-choice school and am now worried that I’ll never be satisfied at my back-ups. Perhaps you admissions fetishists could play higher education matchmakers for a moment and help a light-skinned brother out?

What I’m Looking For:
- Top-tier university with a well-known journalism school (or journalism major within communications school, dig?)
- Urban location or suburban campus with nearby city
- Social life not completely centralized around a Greek scene or weekday alcoholism, but diverse enough to strike a mild balance

What I Have:
- 32 on the ACT with 35s in Math and English
- 3.75 unweighted GPA
- Seven AP classes by the time I graduate with five academic solids (including three AP courses) on my second-semester senior schedule
- Extracurriculars mainly involving scholastic journalism, but also containing athletics and volunteer activities
- Extensive journalism experience ranging from the highest positions on my student newspaper to online freelancing to print-product internships
- Journalism- and community service-related awards on the city, state, regional and national level

Ask me if you have any other questions about my credentials or situation. I just figured the deferral would be an adequate to reassess my options. Thanks.
