Match Me for FL Colleges?

I attended a county online school for 9th and 10th grade, transitioned to public school for 11th grade, and will be attending online school for 12th grade. I’m not sure if this will be looked down upon, or if it will hurt my chances at these schools.

SAT: 1300 (retaking in August)
GPA: 3.9 unweighted, 4.6 weighted
Class Rank: Estimating top 25% since the pool is smaller for online school

AP Classes: AP Psychology (3), AP US History (2), AP English Lang (4)
Senior Year Schedule: AP Calc AB, AP US Gov/Econ Honors, AP Literature, AP Computer Science A, Physics Honors

Extracurriculars:
Community Service Summer Academy (10th)
Computer Science/Coding Summer Program (11th)
Mental Health Awareness Club (11th)
Junior Advisory Board for a non-profit organization (11th-12th)
Piano Lessons (9th-12th)

Volunteer Hours: 310

Hooks (?): URM, single parent household

Because I’m transitioning to a new school for senior year, my extracurriculars are lackluster and my class rank has gone up.

Focus on small colleges as a large state public university such as UCF may overwhelm you.

What do you want to study in college ?

Would you consider a two year community college ?

Consider Flagler College in St. Augustine.

@Publisher I’d like to major in Computer Science and would not consider community college.

@Publisher if I stayed in my local public HS, would I have a better chance at UCF or other state universities? My class rank would stay within 5% and I would have two extra leadership positions, but that’s all. I’m not sure if that will improve my chances.

You should be admitted to UCF regardless of school attended. There are almost 40,000 undergraduate students at UCF.

As for a community college, my understanding is that Santa Fe College in Gainesville has a special relationship with the University of Florida. Tuition is less than $3,000 per year.

NCF in Sarasota and FAU/Wilkes in Jupiter are both small public liberal arts honor colleges worth researching.

I know a lot of students at FIU who like it.

The Big 3 all have community colleges affiliated with them: Santa Fe with UF, Florida State College with FSU and Valencia with UCF. All have their pros and cons.

Look at Rollins College and Stetson University, both smaller schools in Florida. Stetson in particular offers good merit awards for many different students. Rollins is much more sporty but surprisingly good in math and CS.

Seconding NCF.

Since you want to be a CS major, I’d look into some of the polytechnic colleges in FL. Some of the colleges people have offered are great colleges, but they are liberal arts focused. Stetson, for example, is a great liberal arts college with limited science aspects. It may be easy to get into with a stem major, but might not be what you want out of college.
