Your budget is going to limit where you go. At this point I don’t think the US would be affordable for you. If you were to attend a US university, you would be required to have certain items in place.
Medical insurance is required when you attend a US university. The cost of medical insurance will probably take 2/3 of your listed budget.
The US is known for having really limited medical coverage for its residents. In case of medical emergencies, international students will have to purchase this insurance, stateside. The university doesn’t provide it, so they will give you outside references for purchasing it.
So it’s not just about getting a full ride, you also need to be able to cover your bills.
I would agree that you would need to look at someplace other than the US, if you want a university education that is not in India.
