Math Requirement

Hi, Im an international student from Pakistan, interested in the Management and Marketing undergraduate program at a university in Canada. I am currently in my A1 year and I do not have Math as a subject in my A-levels. However, I took Mathematics till O-levels. This program specifies the following requirement:

“Students enrolling directly from high school are admitted on the basis of academic performance. They must have completed Grade 12 English and Grade 12 Calculus.”

I am confused regarding this because I do not know what Grade 12 Calculus in Canada equals the Math I studied for my O-level exam.

  1. Can someone who has knowledge about this help clarify if I can apply to universities in Canada without this requirement being a disadvantage for me, given my subjects?

  2. Does Grade 12 in Canada equal to A-level Year 1 in Pakistan, or can that vary within the subjects taught?

Side note: My current A-level subjects are Business Studies, Economics and Psychology.

You need to add Maths at A1. Calculus = limits, differential equations, integrals… it’s one year above Further maths at OLevels.
