MathXL: How often do you use it in your school?

<p>I’m a senior and I’ve been using mathxl for everything, even tests. I don’t do well on the tests because I either enter stuff in wrong or I can’t ask my teacher about a question because we can’t pick the computer up. She says that every college uses mathxl for everything but her only source is her son’s college. How often do you guys use it and have you heard of any colleges using it? I haven’t and I’m tired of receiving bad notes for dumb technology issues. I used to get all A’s in math and now I’m scraping by with a low B. Please help!</p>

<p>I know what you mean with the technology issues because mathxl is too strict on answer formats. Luckily, this year we’ve only used mathxl maybe like 2-3 times a month for review or short little homework stuff. Junior year for pre-cal was when we’d do many quizzes on it but now Im in AP Calc AB and we rarely use it. I’m not sure how colleges use it though. </p>

<p>In my Calc AB we do all of our homework on it but no tests/quizzes on it. </p>

<p>My previous math teacher used MathXL extensively for Precalc and Alg II/Trig during sophomore year (last school year), but I’m not using it for Calc I currently.</p>
