<p>waleedk, while chem engineering majors have relatively high starting pay, this is not a high paying career. You hit the ceiling pretty quick. You probably don’t want to borrow much more than the average college loan amount, about 25k over 4 years, unless you’re prepared to live really cheaply for many years.</p>
