Critical Reading: 800
Math: 740
Writing: 750
-78/80 Multiple Choice
-8/12 Essay

I bombed the essay, but that’s why I have my 11/12 ACT essay ^^

Cr 650
M 800
W 660 essay 8
2110 Total

Not the best, but its decent in a school full of underachievers.

Let’s hope it makes up for my 3.3 gpa.

1880

650 CR
620 M
610 W (MC: 56, Essay: 10)

On the bright side, I only need to raise each section by 100-150 pts.

CR: 650
M: 620
W:610 (Essay: 10, MC: 56)<----- That says I need to improve on MC really.

1880.

I guess for my first time it isn’t bad, but I really need a 2100+. On the bright side, I can study all summer, and hopefully raise my scores by 100-150 pts in each section. This is loads better than my 161 PSAT.

The writing curve this time was very friendly, I got a 9 on my essay and an 80 in mcq and still got a 790

CR 800 - I expected this, I am a natural in this one and didn’t prep for it.
M 770 - Could have been a lot better
WR790 - I got a 9 on the essay, so I am happy with this.

So, overall, a 250 increase over my Jan 09 2120. I am happy. Wish I’d gotten a perfect though, now I understand why other people over 2350 feel like giving it again.

CR: 720 - 70 point drop from my March SATs, but i’m okay with that
M: 800 - 110 point increase from March SATs
WR: 800 (11 essay) - 40 point increase from March SATs

Total: 2320

i’m happy with it.

_nona ur superscore is 790 wow :)

Ok so i got my scores and they are not awful (2020) SAT 2 Lit 690. The 2020 is fine but the 690 in Lit is really getting me down. I got a 730 on CR on the SATs which was good. Will the lower Lit score make that seem less impressive? Also, how do people “study” for the Essay b/c I get 7-8 on AP essays but only an 8 on the SATs

_nona I mean 2390 lol ;)

CR: 800
M: 680
W: 710

My friend recorded me checking my scores (even though I told her not to) and I look absurd, because I started freaking out when I saw the 800. I have no idea how that happened, because I went into the test thinking “whatever I get, I get. I don’t really care.” (I stressed too much over PSATs because I wanted National Merit and ended up doing not so hot on it. I’m naturally a test taker, so I think it was the pressure that messed me up).
I’m so happy though. All I have to do is brush up on my math and I think I’ll be set :)

Margaux, that was so me! I woke up, grabbed my iPod Touch and checked my scores while still under the sheets. And then, with my two 800s, started screaming and running downstairs to tell my parents. I almost fell flat on my face going around a sharp corner. I would be so embarrassed if someone recorded it, but I think it’s cool that you can look back and see that really exciting moment of your life on camera. Maybe I’ll record some of me opening some of my college acceptance/rejection letters.

Well I got a 1030 without writing.
I’m a beast.

I’m going to throw out my
800 - Chem
800- USH

So… have we come to a conclusion about which sections were tough and which were easy?

My personal opinion:
CR - difficult
Math - medium
Writing - easy

CR - Super hard :stuck_out_tongue:
Math - Easiest I’ve done from collegeboard
Writing - Average

Hmm… I think most people would agree that CR was extremely difficult. So, easy curve?

Math probably had a tough curve - maybe at most -1 to get 800.

What would the curve be for writing?

From what I’ve seen, the math curve was:

800
800
770
750
730

Which is actually up there with the best we’ve had:

I did pretty fffffffing terribly

CR 420
Math 490
Writing 580

:(
