I think the Seneca Falls answer was economic exploitation. There was nothing about the standard being different for men in the quote.

I put the slaves and international trade for that one, but based on [Eli Whitney, Jr. - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia](<a href=“Eli Whitney - Wikipedia”>Eli Whitney - Wikipedia) the answer might be cotton instead…

“I thought Puritans wanted a society for religious dissenters or whatever.”

nope, john winthrop called it the “city on a hill” or something like that. it was a model for other societies.

does anyone know how many you can get wrong to still get an 800?

Jazz isn’t exactly easy to play; I think it is a break from tradition.

Shays rebellion was NOT to overthrow the government (i remember this from crash course book)

What was the quote from the Seneca Falls/Declaration of rights and Sentiments ? It definitley didn’t mean that men encouraged wmoen to be actresses…that has nothing to do with the Seneca Falls Convention, which deals with women’s suffrage. I’m not sure if the answer about suffrage or the answer about the double standard for men/women was correct. Anyone know for sure?

Puritans definitley wanted model city “city upon a hill”

Jazz was definitley a break from tradition

Not sure about electric street cars, and not sure about steamboats.

Also… for the “all of the following were reasons that blacks migrated North in the beginning of the 1900s EXCEPT:” i put “Labor unions opening up membenrship to blacks.” Is that right or is it the one about newspapers?

Gulf of Tonkin was due to a report about a U.S. ship being attacked but the resolution was unsubstantiated and used as an initiative for LBJ to escalate the war in 'Nam.

What was the answer for the Continental army??? I put wanted to fight a European style war but I odn’t know. Help!

Jazz isn’t easy to play per se, but it doesn’t require formal education.

No the Declaratory Act was when they repealed the Stamp Act.

It could not have been the double standard answer, it only mentioned the impropriety of a woman doing that, it said nothing about if a man would be judged the same way. It was that their economic exploitation was demonstrated by their being forced into public entertainment, right?

Seneca falls has to be about double standards…it was talking about behaviors and such.

also , not sure about the theories of why the colonists started the Revolution (it was an except question). I ended up putting “Southern colonists feared that the British wuld abolish slavery in the empire.” But it could be “British restricted colonists’ ability to expand toward the west which upset the WEALTHY colonists”. <–This choice threw me off because the Proclomation line of 1763 DID limit colonists’ western expansion to prevent Indian conflicts, and Colonists WERE veryy upset with that. But I 'm not sure if the WEALTHy colonists were the ones who wanted to go west? Unless by wealthy, it means wealthy southerners who wanted to go west to cultivate rice and stuff. Very tricky question and If anyone’s sure of an answer let me know :]

Was there a question involving the northwest ordinance?

can we get a consolidated answer key?

Also… for the “all of the following were reasons that blacks migrated North in the beginning of the 1900s EXCEPT:” i put “Labor unions opening up membenrship to blacks.” Is that right or is it the one about newspapers?

i put the same.

The answer was the one that had to do with labor unions and blacks

I need that puritan question modeled before me, lol…cuz i keep on forgetting everything about it. I know puritans wanted the city on the hill but i forget the options to that question…could someone relist all the options?

It seemed to me like the test writers had a huge fettish for the women’s movement…across all time periods…

What do you think the curve will be like?

That was insanely easy, only one that tripped me up was the one about Seneca Falls Convention. I didn’t really like any of the answer choices.

The Shay’s Rebellion answer was “take over Massachusettes government”. They just wanted money/jobs.

I think I got that question wrong too, I was thinking of skipping it. Stupid me.

The answer to the picture with the trust king being flash with a light by Uncle Sam is the break up of monopolies right?

And I skipped the question about the handbill about buffalo skins (?). I couldn’t decide between (A) eliminating dangerous animals or (E) people on trains shooting buffalos for entertainment
