May have embellished CV and/or resume for MA and Ph.D applications. Could there be consequences for either of my degrees (to the point of posdible revocation)?

Your health- mental, physical, emotional, is the single most important thing you can focus on right now. Hugs.

I’m inclined to agree. I’m still open to hearing from others in the meantime. Time to go to bed now.

Brush your teeth - for real. Force yourself.

When they go bad, it’s a lifetime of dental work, a horrid life, and I don’t know how much my dad spent on his mouth - maybe six figures. I hope never to have to find out.

In our case (I’m told) hereditary - but you have to force yourself to do this…

I’ve sadly already found out since I have 3 crowns (not even 30 yet) and a ton of fillings. I was told by a dentist that 3 of my other teeth years from now will eventually need root canals as well.

Reason my teeth are in bad shape was because I never saw the dentist during my undergrad. I had a ton of cavities (no dead teeth yet at that point though). It wasn’t until my Master’s that two of my teeth died. The most recent one that died was due to a snafu in a dentist telling me the filling could wait for a few months. They were dead wrong (no pun intended) on that front. Had to go back to my hometown dentist and use their insurance plan so they could treat it.

If there’s a spoiler tag on this website, let me know so I can edit it in.

I’m also behind on my asynchronous lectures I need to upload for my students as well as grading.

Weekends suck. End of story.

Update: Looks like I’m going to be discharged today since today is the maximum amount my insurance will allow me to stay here.

For those wondering, I got a lot out of this program that will make my weeks from here on out more tolerable. Prior to this partial hospitalization, I was sleeping a ton in the middle of the week and was barely socializing with co workers by making small talk and whatnot. Now, I’m doing that more than I used to and I’m not getting caught up on those episodes.

Update 2: I’m officially discharged.

I’d like to get this thread back on topic as well if folks have anything additional they’d like to add in the meantime.

@mondoz Since you are working with a professional, it is best to continue seeking their advice rather than strangers on the internet. This site is not an appropriate resource for the type of counseling you need, regardless of the best intentions of its contributors. Please continue to work with your therapist and take care of your mental and physical health. Many people on CC are rooting for you and hope one day you will return with a positive update. Until then, I’m closing the thread so you can concentrate on your healing. Best wishes.
