<p>CPAC is a three day event. I’m sure if he truly wanted to vote, he could have made it across town and done both. He was the only senator to miss the vote. Even Bill Bennett thought he made a mistake by staying away.</p>

<p>Since I assume you’ve never been to CPAC let me fill you in. It is a prolonged event BUT there is one day when all the “big” people speak. That day was today, as evidenced but Romney giving his concession speech and McCain drumming up conservatives.</p>
<p>Thank you for enlightening me, Lax. McCain’s speech lasted less than 30 minutes. My guess is that this was not the reason he wasn’t there for the vote.</p>
