<p>The good and bad news is that it really doesn’t matter because you won’t get to choose 
The biggest difference is suite (alderman) vs. hall style (mccormick and hereford). You can read about the more subtle differences on the UVA housing website. Honestly, I went in with the idea that I was going to hate suite style because I had really wanted old dorms. But in the end, I loved my suite and had a great time. So no matter what your first impressions of what you may or may not like are, you’ll probably like where you end up anyway</p>
