McCormick Road Question

<p>My d just got her assignment and is thrilled to have McCormick Road! Question-- It listed her dorm name and room number. The room number had "-A-1 " after it. Does anyone know what the A-1 means? (We were thinking maybe the side of the hall?) Thanks for helping.</p>

<p>The A1 just designates her to one 'bed", the other will be A2. It’s simply for housing record keeping purposes and has no actual bearing as to who gets what bed within the room.</p>

<p>Yep, don’t worry about the A1/A2/A3. Building and Room number is all you need. That also goes for mailing address, facebook info, etc.</p>

<p>Does that address work for pizza and other food delivery?</p>

<p>You’ve heard of security, haven’t you? No way should you let a delivery person in the building. Give him a phone number so you can meet him outside.</p>

<p>I don’t let the pizza delivery person in my house now so I can’t imagine doing it at school. Based on what I saw at Orientation (swipe card door entry) wouldn’t the delivery person have to call me in order for me to come to the door to pay him and receive the food?</p>

<p>The delivery person will call you when he/she is a couple minutes away and will meet you on the street. They know the drill. Lots of places deliver to dorms all the time.</p>
