McDonell's victory and how it will impact UVA

13% of our OOS students decide not to return their home states and stay in VA; 26% of our VA students decide to move outside of VA

Of all of the applicants (whether IS or OOS), 57% stay in the state of Virginia

</p>

<p>These numbers come from analyzing data we have about alumni from the last five graduating classes from UVa. Clearly, our OOS population is going on to make contributions in the Commonwealth after their four years here.</p>
