I’m game. I move in on the 24th, but I think I’m coming up a couple days early and just staying in a hotel with my parents.

I’ve been thinking the same thing! Damn you guys rock. I think it’ll be a great way to meet some new (real) friends, and we’ll all know we have something in common. Plus, how cool will it be to see who everyone really is.

yeah, it’s definately good to start a new school experience with some familiar faces. meeting up with crazychai was really fun, so I’m really looking forward to meeting the rest of you too. I think that if we were to do it on a move-in day we should do it on the 24th so that everyone will definately be there already. Do we want to do this at a restaurant or pub of some sort (I heard Peel Pub on St. Catherine’s is really popular among freshmen) or does someone want to volunteer their room or what? I’m so excited! Although I haven’t been contacted by an advisor or a first year buddy or any packages of any kind. I’m starting to get a little paranoid that they’re lost in the mail or that I’ve deleted their emails by accident.

I need to remember to call and find my room assignment. arg. I ws going to call today, but I went and saw War of the Worlds, then forgot. And now, there offices are closed tomorrow for Canada Day. Now I have to wait till monday.

I’m thinking we have our get-together/party at a pub/bar/resto, whatever. But that’s just me, an American who is extremely excited to legally drink. And not in an obnoxious frat boy way. Cocktails are fun.

I live in the Trenton, NJ area and I’m doing the Bachelor of Arts program. I’ve only been to Montreal twice but I fell in love with it both times- once in the winter and once in the summer- and I’m really looking forward to going to McGill.

It says single room, but Solin hall only has 2,3,4 bedroom apartments, so I’m guessing I’m gonna have to learn to not live alone.
