After a very rocky start to his freshman year a dropped writing course 2 A’s and one f My son was diagnosed with Bipolar and has been in the hospital for 2 weeks and missed the first 2 weeks of school and his doctors. And strongly urged us to take a medical leave .The school which is a top ten private uiversity already put him on probation for not meeting his credit requirements .He is doing so much better since we started and wants to resume school over the summer to make up and again in the fall.Should we tell the school that he is bipolar ?
