I matched the Megaball - does that mean I get my $2 back?!

Crap, there goes my morning latte. For those of you who think that buying a ticket is a waste, go ahead and be judgemtal. $2 was worth the dream. And screw it, I’m still having my latte.
I didn’t win, but now I don’t have to figure out security issues and the most tactful way to not give my crazy aunt a million dollars ;-).
I don’t live in SC, so I obviously didn’t win. In fact, only matched a single number total on 3 tickets. Kind of nice to know I won’t have to go into hiding.
Alas, we didn’t travel to SC to get my tickets either. I matched two numbers on one ticket and two singles on others, but no Megaball with them so I think the winner(s) and SC are getting my $10 donation.
Congrats to SC. May the winner and state use the money wisely!
Our news stated that one PA lucky ticket scored $1,000,000. Congrats to them. The number nationwide was in the 30s but I wasn’t paying specific attention to know that number exactly. Best wishes to anyone on here with tickets. 1 million isn’t the grand prize, but I suspect most of us would be thrilled for it anyway.
Do you have to match 3 numbers to win anything?
Saw the specifics they are releasing when I checked to see if two numbers won anything (they don’t, unless one of those is the Megaball). Here’s what I found for the high prizes:
Match 5 + 1 Jackpot Winner: South Carolina(1).Match 5 + 0: Winners in AZ(1),CA(8), DC(1), Florida(3-non-Megaplier plus 1-Megaplier),IA(1), KY(1), MA(2),MI(2), MO(1), NC(2), NJ(2), NM(1), NY(4), OH(1), PA(1), Texas(1-megaplier), VA(2) and WI(1).
Other than SC being the big winner, CA has the most million dollar tickets, followed by FL and NY. Of course, those more or less go along with population numbers so I’m not sure how the statistics break down.

I caved last night and bought $20 for each of the two big games. Won $30 last night so I have almost broken even! Could have used a million with three kids on the way to college in the next few years, oh well.

I was hoping winning $5 and a Snickers bar in bingo at my aunts’s assisted living place last night would be auspicious for Mega Millions, but out of 4 tickets I only got 1 number right.
I’m insanely jealous of whoever won.
