No winner in the Powerball drawing last night. Looks like it will be $750 million for Saturday.
I “won” $4 (had bought $6 worth), one number plus the Mega. It will be plowed back into Saturday’s Powerball drawing.
I had a lot of fun with this. Great return on investment!

Only a single digit on Megaball (5 on two lines, no megaball) but I got the Powerball on one line!!! A whopping $2 on my $12 investment. Woot! Better return than my bet on Compaq options back in 1991. I’m booking a ticket to Vegas, baby!
BTW, we drove through Simpsonville, SC on the way to see DW’s nephew graduate from Army boot camp at Fort Jackson … so maybe some of that winner’s luck will wear off on us. In fact, we did it twice: going there yesterday and coming home today. A double dose of good luck
I shall have to get some NY Powerball tickets. Perhaps that will give me the NY boost? It’ll at least give me an excuse for a walk. Switching down from 10,000+ steps to barely getting 1500 IF we get to go somewhere is a bit trying on my system.
