It seems Pitt is being more generous this year than past - or all the merit winners are on CC 
I wonder if, given other schools going deep, they have found budget to compete.
Perhaps the price increases are starting to price kids out of the market - which in this case is a boon for Pitt applicants, to make prices competitive with others.
They used to say you needed a 33 ACT to get merit - but there was even a TO applicant listed here.
So reading the thread, it seems like it’s gotten better!!
