Miami Dade dual enrollment

<p>Do dual enrollment classes lower or raise your GPA? I’ve taken French I and French II through dual enrollment at Miami-Dade College, but it still hasn’t shown up in my student history. They’re supposed to be honors courses. Would continuing to take french dual enrollment hurt me or what? Logic tells me that any honors class would bring down my GPA, but then, why do people take dual enrollment classes during the summer to get ahead?</p>

<p>If anyone here is from Miami-Dade county and has experience with this, please let me know.</p>

<p>it depends on the classes you’re taking already… if all your classes are regular or honors it will help, but if you’re taking mostly AP or IB it will bring you down (A in AP/IB= 6.0, A in honors=5.0, A in regular= 4.0)</p>
