Yesterday (12/09) in the afternoon.

Check the Financial Aid & Scholarships tab on your application portal. My daughter just happened to check today (she didn’t receive an email) & she found out she was awarded a $15,000 out of state scholarship & the Presidential Study Abroad Scholarship.

Just checked that tab. I got the instate honors scholarship that is $5000 a year and I got an instate resident scholarship for $1500 a year.

I’m glad you posted this — I just checked and my D22 also received the $15k OOS scholarship, plus the Presidential Study Abroad Scholarship for $3-5k. Such great news! This puts MSU below her budget.

Did anyone who received $15k oos scholarship not submit test scores?

Is COA for Michigan State OOS students 55K?

Same here!

With the additional estimated expenses (travel, books, etc.), yes. We are within a reasonable drive, so flights won’t be necessary, so I lowered that a bit for our own estimate:

Tuition: $40,562
Fees & Taxes: $164
Room & Board: $10,676
Books & Supplies: $1,168
Misc. Expenses: $3,950 (I’m lowering to $2k for our budget, though)
Total: $56,520

D’s budget is $40k/yr so we’re glad to have another school come in under (Iowa State is way under at $25k with the scholarships she received).
