Exactly…I just googled their typical yield and MSU is about 21-22% so I’m off base and don’t know enough about admissions or have enough data really to determine what any of it means…moving on.
Hopefully all our kids get acceptances soon and then we won’t care about the numbers!

I so appreciate your information and your perspective here. I may have my son look up harlan Cohen as I have been saying the same thing, but it helps to hear things on Instagram from someone other than your parent lol. The ranking info you cite is also something I was going to share with him. The anxiety coming up for him around this process is allowing us to have important conversations for the first time, so that is definitely a good thing. Fingers crossed for this weekend.
Not that I’m stalking (but I am); last year 2023 first round came out in the MORNING…looks like first post of an invite in 2023 showed up at 9:30am. Crossing fingers today for everyone.

wow…this weekend?.. think we’ll get the standard “status has changed on your portal” email ?.. would be nice if they could announce a date/ time : …maybe on socials…like Univ Georgia.
Last year the email came out on a Saturday morning. Do you suppose the portals changed on Friday night? Last year there was no warning, and it’s slightly before mid-month, so maybe no one was looking on Friday? Should we start checking tonight? It does seem like most schools drop announcements Friday night. 
lol-- I’ve checked so often today. I’m telling myself it won’t be until next weekend. That’s more mid-February. But I don’t know anything for sure, just managing anxiety over here.

I don’t know. The regular admit came much faster than expected, so he hadn’t checked before the email.

looks like they came out – my son did not get the direct admit. It is on the portal

we just logged into the portal and it says all decision for sent out

Weird-- It was there this morning under Admission to the College of Business and now it is back to the same paragraph it was before today.
