<p>Last year, I got a mail about leasing a micro-fridge. I wanted it and got it. I was happy throughout the year with a micro-fridge. Now I’m entering into my second year at UVa. I never got that mail this summer. Is this micro-fridge for only first-years?</p>
<p>I don’t know if the lease is for first years only, but I can think of why it could be. Most, if not all, upperclassman housing at UVA has a microfridge or a full refridgerator for every suite, apartment, and sometimes room. I know all of the apartment complexes have full kitchens in every apartment, Gooch/Dillard has a microfridge in each suite and a kitchen on both sides of the dorms, and Hereford has microfridge in every room.</p>
<p>From my own experience, my apartmentmates and I had a microwave and a small fridge in each of our rooms only because our refridgerator never worked for more than two weeks. Don’t get me started on our oven.</p>
<p>If you really need a microfridge, then just buy one since you have at least three more years here.</p>
