Hi @steelpen - That makes sense. Good luck to you!
does anyone know if Midd has released any stats regarding its ED1 round?
@oceanrunner I’ve not seen anything released to the alumni interviewers yet. What were you interested in?
how many they accepted, how many states/countries represented, etc.
rejected! lol
Hi. If any of you has submitted CSS or FAFSA, does it show on your portal? I submitted mine before the deadline but i still don’t see it on the checklist. Should I be worried?
Hey guys! I’m going to be attending midd this fall as a posse scholarship winner, and I’d like to get to know my fellow peers of the class of 2024. Below I’ll be leaving my personal Instagram, be sure to give me a follow and a message. I’d love to meet you all!

Congratulations @christianl48069!!!
I’m not sure about your Posse, but fewer than 5% of the nominees for the Chicago Posse are selected as scholars, so it’s a pretty amazing achievement!
Posse has a very strong presence at Midd, since three Posses send scholars there, so you not have only your own Posse, but more about 120 other Posse scholars who will be there…
Good luck, and I’m sure that you’ll do great. Enjoy the Pre-Collegiate Training!
Hi! I applied to Midd on rd round. I wonder if anyone had ever gotten an interview arrangement? I am getting really worried because on the website it says the interview is typically in January :((
I applied ED and got in. I am looking forward to continuing my educational and athletic career at Midd!!
@XtCPir - as an interviewer, we’ve not been assigned the interviews yet, so don’t worry.
Hi Everyone. I just had an interview with a Middlebury Alum. He told me that they (all interviewers for Midd) have to submit a report of the interview by February 11th. Middlebury states on their website that an interview is not necessary for admissions so I wouldn’t worry too much
Good luck all!
@nickgaj - the interviews are an important part of the process, and should be taken seriously. They almost exclusively help applicants, and the college and the alumni go to considerable lengths to get them done.
Did you apply RD or ED2? @nickgaj
@XtCPir I applied RD!
@“Contented Panther” Based off the website I didn’t get the message that they were that important to the application process so thank you for sharing with me that it actually is; it makes me feel better about my interview. I am grateful that I was able to get an interview, and I understand that my interviewer went through a lot. I took the interview seriously because it was a college that I am very interested in. I hope that my comment above didn’t come off as snobby or uncaring, and just wanted to clear things up.
Does Middlebury still do the likely letters?
Good for you, @nickgaj - all the best.
Does anyone know the date that RD decisions will be out?
