So I go to a large high school in NW Austin. Today all the sophomores/juniors took the psat, paid for by the school :)!

The teacher was telling us how to it’s impossible to study for the SAT and a lot of other misconceptions most teachers have now a days. Then all of my classmates started talking about colleges and the class unanimously announced that Harvard law school is in the same category as Baylor university in prestige and difficulty to get into…

Yes, I know I said Harvard law school. People at my school think it’s only a law school thanks to legally blonde…

A lot of students also perceive UT Austin as below most colleges in Texas, but a good school nonetheless when in fact it is the #2 best college in Texas…

Probably 9 out of 10 kids think Rice is just an ‘okay’ college and is as easy to get into as A&M…

I cant even imagine what it’s going to be like once im a senior and people ask me what colleges i’m applying to and I say something like northwestern, rice, Notre Dame, johns hopkins, Rice, Duke, ect… I can already imagine their response of being " why don’t you shoot for baylor or A&M, you’re a good student!"

By the way im sorry if my sentences aren’t very coherent, it’s late and I had to take 2 long tests, plus the PSAT while being sick with something awful…
