<p>I was thinking of applying at SLO for Computer Science…but I read somewhere in the website that I had to have some major prereqs done in order to be comptetive. HOwever if I want to apply for next fall I will be missing 2 prereqs for my major. I would be done with my IGETC so would 2 major prereqs really set me off to the side?</p>
<p>My situation is a little different. I’m at a Community College and I have to go by the assist.org website. I will also be missing a few classes when I apply to SLO. I heard that they still take in people who are only missing like 1 or 2 classes. It depends on a lot of other stuff, too, like GPA, etc. I would still definitely apply, the worst is they don’t accept you. Make sure you have other colleges in mind as well, not just SLO. I don’t think 2 classes will make such a big difference. Anyways, good luck to both of us!</p>
