While submitting the student information form for SSAT common application online, earlier today, I mistakenly typed my child’s name for the release (waiver to read recommendations and transcripts) instead of one of the parents. The reason probably was the question right before that needed the child’s name. The information is already submitted and cannot be edited by me online. Should I call up SSAT or the schools’ concerned? We have correctly signed the release on the actual letters of recommendations and transcript release forms. So will this really matter? Thanks.

I’d recommend sending an email to info@ssat.org. They answer questions very quickly and you’ll get a response you can rely on, since it is from SSAT itself.

If after a modest attempt to fix it fails, I wouldn’t sweat it any further.

I called up SSAT and it is something which SSAT doesn’t release to the school so it shouldn’t be a big deal.
