MIT Class of 2015 Early Action Hopefuls

I’m so excited and can’t wait to hear back!
@HelpWithSchools - I really wish it were available Dec. 9… lol

how do you access it online? via email or your personal login info

You access it by using your myMIT username and password. There will be a special site, something like decisions.mit.edu

:D just because.

Wow! The Admissions staff must be busy. No new blog posts on their site since November 27. A bit unusual for them… [MIT Admissions](http://www.mitadmissions.org/)

^ Actually, the most recent posts are by students, not admissions officers. They must be really busy.

I’m gonna turn email notifications off for this thread… lol. Nah, it’s understandable (although I resent that nobody seems to have watched mah video). I’m just glad I have PMUNC starting tomorrow to take my mind off things.

Lakerfan I watched your video! I cracked up. :P

Anyone know when the decisions will be posted?

It hasn’t been announced yet, which you would know if you actually bothered to read the thread lol.

Haha I know. I did read the thread… it’s just that I’m so anxious that I’m hoping some news came out as to when the decision will come out… xD

i heard they will be releasing the final date sometime next week

Which means the decision will come out roughly a week following that date? So the wait is two very long weeks… =/ Thanks for the info though :)

Usually they announce the date roughly a week before decisions come out. I would expect to see the announcement next week and decisions the following week. Yeah I think we are all getting more anxious as the date approaches.

I found out today that someone I know got matched to MIT through Questbridge.

Good for him/her, it bothers me a little that QB applicants hear back before we do, and that they have three chances at getting in (QB, EA, RA).

they don’t really have 3 chances of getting in. if they are unmatched but still want to apply to MIT, they are “rolled over” with their qbridge app into our normal cycle.

It does bother me a little bit as well.

I suppose if they aren’t allowed to actually reapply, but their applications are still looked at three times.

Why does it bother you two? I doubt QB apps rolled over to EA are re-read – the previous summaries are likely used for EA selection, since EA selection follows so closely on the heels of QB matching.
