EA decisions on 12/16 @ 12:16pm
Deferred.
But glad S24 is living proof MIT does NOT have a cut off ACT/SAT score, just like Dean Stu had said in his blog posts.
DD deferred
S24 also deferred
Admitted.
congrats!!! stats, ecs, and awards?
Thanks!
The stats are in the post above I responded to.
I can share more info over PM to preserve anonymity in the public forum.
sure, can you please PM me more info?
Guys, I am applying RD to MIT, can I selectively report AP scores? I know that MIT asked people to report certain AP scores when they noticed someone took an AP class but didn’t report the score. However, I am an international student with a completely different school system, I never took an AP class, but I just decided to self-study on the side and take some AP exams for fun. Do I still have to report all of them?
Some stats on the EA round.
Applications: 11,964 (after 599 of 12,563 withdrew)
Admitted: 661 (5.5%)
Deferred: 8,052 (67.3%)
Rejected: 3,251 (27.1%)
Congrats!!! Isn’t your oldest at MIT too?
Without looking it up, it seems like they’ve rejected more this year (compared to past years) rather than deferring.
My daughter was deferred. We are all happy & excited for her and all the hard work she’s put in.
D24 is deferred, We are happy about it. This is a long shot for her anyway.
