<p>Did any of you check your MyMIT account? Looks like the office is looking for 2012 returns which are due in India only by July 2013. We had sent 2011-2012 returns already. We have e-mailed SFS today, awaiting response.

<p>No no IT returns 2012-13 can be paid on April, as far as I know, because our most recent tax year runs from April1 2012 to March31 2013. And yes, I have sent in the 2011-12 IT returns, but they recorded it as 2012 Foreign Tax Return. I have emailed them the situation, and they replied “it’s okay. we will change your FA status. thanks for contacting our office”. But the status hasn’t changed yet. So I stopped worrying because I have informed them, and now it’s their job. Probably, they will know it while going through the IT return.</p>
