MIT Interviews

The ones that help in admission are mainly 9th end 10th end and 11th end. They give it in 12th end too because they like it and do not do it just for colleges.

@Conscience13 rejected B)

Ohkk. Congrats Akshat, if you ever read this :)

So if one did not qualify for the next level NSEP/NSEC etc etc. in grade 11 and gave it next year (drop a year), how would that work out? Also how do people manage IIT results coming out in July (ish) and US admission results?

@rishab: since you know him, congratulate him from my side and wish him all the best for the future! :)

@Robots156 please dont choose a 50-50 path. Either stick with US or India.

@rishabh- If you can manage both, then whats the problem? I am sure to get a <1000 rank in JEE, but i would still like to go to the IVY+ in us if i have the opportunity.

So what is the final MIT list? Have any non-medalists made it? I heard MIT picks 8 Kids from India every year.

I have heard of some guy in Mumbai getting in this year after a rejection last year. Not sure if that’s believable.

MIT took only 3 Indian citizens this year.

^How do you know @atrip2018?

LOL, @hatsonakeboob is Akshat Boobna himself. Such a humble guy, yet such a genius.
Rishabh Mehra got into Stanford too… :"D

Asking this question on behalf of my friend:
Does MIT consider IESO medals on an equal stature to Chem/Phy/Math/Astronomy/Informatics medals?

So, if a person( from India) has done internship in psychology and done a lot of acting and dance a social work and has had a a good record in academics, the person might not get selected ? A person has to crack one of these Olympiads to get into Harvard or MIT ?

Also, is Linguistic olympiad considered or does the person have to crack one of the science ones ?

Hey guys, who did finally get into MIT?
@HatsOnAKeboob‌ please share the list if you know.

I’m sorry please ignore my last comment.

@MITChris Has anyone from India (non-US citizen) gotten in without interview? Please dispel the rumors.
