<p>Therefore, MIT is better than UST but UST is also a very good university.</p>

<p>MIT is definitely better than UST. I’m not even applying to UST. CUHK is much better than UST!</p>

<p>MIT is definitely better than HKUST but depends in what way!
some things that HKUST has and MIT doesnt:

  1. Closer to Asia where the job market is on the rise!
  2. Mandarin/chinese learning opportunity (extremely important)
  3. Not as expensive for an Undergrad level which makes sense
  4. More diversity, UST has about 42% International/Non-local students!!
  5. Hong Kong is an amazing place and the UST campus is as astoundingly beautiful (clear water bay), close to the main city yet away, surrounded by ocean and mountains!
  6. One of the reasons that MIT is amazing is because it has the top students from US and there standard of excellence is not doubted by ANYONE! But if you go there you have to compete against them and live up to the rep and constantly perform miracles! Whereas in UST there wont b so much pressure on you so you can have a University life!</p>

<p>Having said all of that if I were you I would go to MIT if I got in! But i’m not u, i’m ME, and so I didn’t apply to MIT so that I don’t have to choose, because I know how good HKUST can be for my career!
And HKUST is any day better than the other Hong Kong Universities for Engineering and Management courses, thats like a known fact! HKU is supposed to be the best but not in Engineering and campus tech etc.
Imagine a University est in 1991 is in the Top 30 in QS rankings! There has to be something about HKUST!!!</p>

<p>haha… so by going to MIT you mean becoming another action superhero figure! I dont wanna sound discouraging or anything man, but its probably not going to happen! Unless you have positive mutation, MIT will not be able to make you another X-Man !!</p>

<p>Both Reed Richards (Mr. Fantastic) and Tony Stark (Iron Man) went to MIT. At least in the movies, I’m not sure that is the case in the comics also.</p>
