Did anyone who did not fill out the survey yet, get a text message from MITES asking them to fill out the survey?
@ZucchiniSoup I got a text from them before I filled it out, but I only didn’t comlete it yet, it was still on my phone. I don’t see what this hysteria about the survey is about, anyway, when we get our accpetances (or rejections) we can all move on, I wish the best to all of you though!
P.S.: Is any one going through a “aw man, my essays could’ve been better, I’m never goonna get in” mood to a “wow, my essays weren’t the best that it could be, but they aren’t looking for just 2400 SAT students, they want everyone thats high schieveing and well-rounded” happy mood?
@AdrianF24 I’m pretty content with my essays, my guidance counselor said they were “brilliant” and some of the best he’s ever read. He said I appear to be a very interesting person. What did you write for your invention?
@ZucchiniSoup I don’t have it saved, but I researched, and then explained new methods of improved sanitation for children in LEDC’s (I was learning about the Millennium Development Goals at the time) since many children are raped and/or kidnapped because they have to walk miles just to relieve themselves-or the alternative, ruin the environmenent they live in. I think that sounds a bit cliché, but that was something very pressing to me. What did you write about?
@AdrianF24 same thing about the MIT booklet!! I didn’t really tell anyone when I got it just in case I hadn’t gotten, but I was fairly confident that was the response!! Stupid ads
I’m also pretty mad because I sent MItES my shitty January SAT score but killed the March one just now (2900: math 800, writing 800, reading 690)

Yea I meant 2290 lol and yea I tried calling to see if I had the opportunity to send my March scores but they haven’t called back. I highly doubt they would bc if so they’d have to make sure all applicants know, if not it’s biased. I got a 2070 in January, I had fucked up in math. This March one I improved all three sections.
So mid-April is when we’ll be notified right?
@didierdrogba Hard to say. Probably the week of April 13-17. I know the earliest result in recent years was released on April 10th (a Friday this year). My money is on April 15th, a Wednesday.

I kind of did a half-a$$ed app, since my real goal is TASP, but now that results are in less than two weeks I figured I’d come say hi. I think they’d send e-mails @ZucchiniSoup . Good luck everyone who really wants it!

Here are the decision days that show up in old CC threads, with applicants getting an email saying “check your portal” - and decisions were on each individual’s MITES application page…
