bets on notification release date?
My essays and ECs were great. SAT from last June was a 1650, GPA 4.0 UW & 5.529 Weighted. We’ll see how much low scores factor in holistically by mid-April
How do you guys have more than 5.0? I thought 5 was the max

At some schools 6 is the max (like at mine). For every AP or DE class you add 2 points, and for every honors class you add 1 point. I have a 3.89 unweighted and a 5.07 weighted. By the end of this year I’ll have 3.91 and 5.18

Hello all, I have a friend who also applied to MITES. He recently told me that he took a college tour of some schools in Boston, MIT being one of them. While at MIT, he decided to stop by the MITES office, just to stop by. He told me, if by chance he were to see anybody wink wink , a face could be put to a name. He said that once he arrived the assistants in the office (who were also alums of E2 and MITES) said no one else was there because the selection committee was meeting right then, somewhere else!! They’ve been doing that almost every night for he doesn’t know how long. All they could tell him was that there are A LOT of applications to go through.
Also told him that decisions most likely coming out 3rd week of April (around “Mid-April”), if not, then at least before the last week of April.
So he told me he chatted with the assistants and did end up leaving his name with them in hopes it reaches SOMEONE. Lol I was so jealous! But I guess no harm, no foul. Putting a face to a name and application, wherever it is in the decision process can help.
The wait is almost over! 
3rd week of April?! I can’t wait that long!
Sigh…
Did anybody here apply to the Questbridge College Prep Scholarship?
Hi, I actually applied to the questbridge scholarship, but I’m kind of doubting my chances since I applied the day before it was due (found out late). Despite this I believe I put my all into the essay and the questions, so I’m crossing my fingers. Did anyone else apply? It’s such a great opportunity.
I also applied to the MITES program and after reading all of these responses I’m super nervous. You guys sound like awesome and bright people 
Best of luck to all. I bet on acceptances and rejections being sent out next week. (I kind of just want it all over with lol)

@14mylee I got the email but besides MITES I had already signed up for 2 other programs and that’s leaving out another program I wanted to sign up for but didn’t want to commit to due to the other 3 programs I applied to
Daaang, that looks like an awesome program. I probably don’t have enough need for it though.
One of the seniors last year at my school got the Questbridge scholarship for college and got a full ride to Tufts. I didn’t know there was another scholarship like that from Questbridge.
…blows my mind that there are 2,000 of us all waiting for the same thing right now…we could take an awesome selfie!

It’s probably not 3k. That would be a 100% increase from last year… I’d bet money on the number being closer to 2k.
