Thank you, Stevenr1983 for setting it up!

Hey Steven and Carolyn, thanks for setting up the group. I’m transferring from Rutgers University which, although not a community college per se, is definitely not an “elite” school so that makes three of us at least
see on facebook…

Hi transfer people.

I got accepted. Also not from an “elite” school which puts it at four of us, I suppose. So, I would say to those looking to transfer next year: don’t worry too much what school you are from. I am transferring from University of Victoria in BC, Canada. I’m in electrical engineering at my current school, but am going to try and switch to aerospace if MIT lets me.

Still haven’t received the package in the mail but I suppose it’s because I am international. I’ll email Noah if I don’t receive it by the end of this week.

Anyhow, it would be nice to connect with some of you guys before getting there, since transfer is tough, what with not knowing anyone or having groups to study with and such.

Steven, I added you… if you have a group set up, please invite.

hey guys, i’m really interesting in following this path that you guys all took.
any advice for a newbie? :(

In what MIT academic department do you propose to register?

When you discussed about your passion in your essay, did you talk about the reason why you want to switch your major? Did MIT allow you to switch your major in the end?
